TERRACEA GIVES

We are proud to announce our newest initiative aimed at both supporting disadvantaged communities, and taking additional burden off of the planet. Starting in 2023, our customers will be given the option to trade in a gently used Terracea jacket for a percentage off of a new piece of gear. The used jackets will be compiled into a gear library that will be available to donate to a number of our community partners.

HOW IT WORKS

1% For The Planet

One of our largest initiatives at Terracea is to find ways to offset our overall carbon footprint on our planet. Last year in 2022, we made a decision to donate to 1% For The Planet each year as a way to give back to causes that will help protect the environment for years to come. Even with sustainability measures in mind with our manufacturing processes and material selection, we know we are inherently placed in an industry that creates waste based on the products that we've created. We will continue to innovate and find new ways to reduce our overall impact on our home, and will strive to be a driving force for this initiative.

One Warm Coat

One Warm Coat is a fantastic nationwide non-profit group that provides gently used apparel and footwear items to organizations that help distribute them to those in need. Their mission statement is: "Our mission is to provide free coats to children and adults in need while promoting volunteerism and environmental sustainability". At our core, we at Terracea believe that everyone has the basic need to stay warm and dry during winter months - With our Terracea Gives program, we pledge to donate to One Warm Coat each year with jackets that we receive back from our online customers in order to reduce our impact on landfills and to provide warm clothing to people that need it the most.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

STEP 1

Add a new piece of gear to your cart, and include a comment at checkout that you’d like to participate in the Terracea Gives program. You can also send us a message below with your Order # referenced stating that you'd like to participate in this program. 

STEP 2

After checkout, we’ll send over a prepaid shipping label to the email address included on your order.

STEP 3

Using the provided mailer box included in the shipment of your new gear, send us your gently used jacket or coat within 5-7 business days and we’ll take care of the rest!
