Stronger Together: The Evolution of the Terracea x Minus33 Partnership
When two New Hampshire brands share the same climate, the same values, and the same obsession with performance, collaboration just makes sense.
What began as a simple idea—co-branded merino wool socks—has grown into something much bigger. Over the past year, we’ve deepened our partnership with Minus33, moving beyond a single product and into a shared vision for high-performance layering systems built for real winter conditions.
Both Terracea and Minus33 are rooted in New Hampshire, where winter isn’t theoretical—it’s lived.
This region delivers some of the most demanding winter conditions in the country: wet snow, sustained wind, freeze-thaw cycles, long stretches of cold, and constant variability. Gear doesn’t get a pass here. It either performs or it doesn’t.
We founded Terracea in the Northeast and build it for the Northeast—outerwear designed to manage moisture, block wind, and stay breathable through changing conditions. Minus33 operates from the same foundation, creating merino base layers that regulate temperature and perform through long days outside.
The partnership works because our products are developed in the same climate, for the same realities: merino next to skin, technical protection on the outside.
The launch of the Minus33 x Terracea merino wool socks was just the beginning. It quickly became clear that our brands weren’t simply complementary—they were aligned. Layered together, merino base layers, technical insulation, and high performing shells create a complete system built for real winter use.
That system came to life during a joint photo shoot in January. We spent the day skiing in full winter conditions, followed by an afternoon of après—showing how the pieces transition seamlessly from high-output activity to downtime. The merino managed moisture and temperature on the mountain, while our technical outerwear handled wind and snow. Off the slopes, the same layers moved comfortably into a more relaxed setting without compromise.
Now, we’re expanding the collaboration beyond socks as we launch our co-branded base layers. There is more to come and we can't wait to share it will you all!
